Welcome to the Fall Into Fitness Giveaway Hop hosted by the Runaway Bridal Planner and co-hosted by Hoho Runs.
The Goodies
Are you drooling yet? One of the most frequent comments I get on my Friday Food Porn posts is what time is dinner?
I like to eat. And I like to bake. And I like to share the things I bake with other people. Good thing I like to exercise, too, because otherwise I’d weight 300 lbs! Today I want to give you the chance to win some of my pre/post exercise snacks. I want to share with you some home baked goodness!
Included (but not limited to) no bake peanut butter granola bars (good pre and post exercise) and oatmeal date almond bars (I like to eat little bits of this during long runs); both recipes are from Faanetasticfood, so you know they’re good for exercise/running.
Please be aware that these snacks contain nuts or nut butters and although I do use gluten free oats, if you have a serious gluten problem, these snacks are not for you.

Looks yummy! I’m always looking for healthy post-run snacks. Usually I end up eating a bunch of junk – so not healthy!

Favorite pre-workout fuel is banana and peanut butter. Sometimes icecream does the trick too, even though it’s not technically ‘healthy.’ ;-D

I’ll do yogurt with granola both before/after or banana soft serve, which is almost like ice cream!

So many…my favorite is probably Justin’s Maple Almond Butter on top of anything. Oh, a humongous coffee afterwards is a must.

Well, you know my feelings on coffee. Something chocolate afterwards, that’s a different story!

Ahh Judy your goodies look so good! When I fuel for a morning workout (run) my go to is a half a bagel with peanut butter, sometimes I don’t have the bagel and it’s just a piece of bread…. Afterwards I want carbs, and I love waffles or pancakes if I can get my hands on them! 🙂

I think it’ll be pancakes for me saturday after 11 miles. 🙂 Course that’s nothing to crazy marathoners like you!

It depends on the day or time and I usually don’t have a good plan for it. I keep meaning to make more homemade items, but I usually grab a protein bar
